His Take on the Film
“I remember the first time the main cast and Sky all sat in one room together. It was a casting session and Sky – with his intimidating hard mode switched on (which I now know is the opposite of his nature) – had just left the room. There was an instant energy between us all just sitting there and though we didn’t know we were the final cast at the time, we knew that we could be friends and that was something invaluable to have on set.
CJL was a massive moment for me, as it marks the first big step toward a dream. Going from small roles to landing a main character in a feature film is an amazing feeling – especially as an ethnic actor in Australia. I learned an exponential amount and equally or perhaps even more importantly I had a lot of fun doing it.”
